BVD Suite (ORBIS, OSIRIS, etc) -- Create a report

Create a custom report on OSIRIS. An example. Get a spreadsheet file displaying selected public companies and selected fields.

Expert Search. Stock Data ->Stock Exchange
Select NYSE-> OK
On next screen Click on LIST (in top tool bar)
Now you have a list of about 1800 companies.
Click on FORMAT (bottom of screen)

Next screen – Select NEW.
Now you’re ready to create your report.
You see a screen with a box ALL TEMPLATES (don’t change that)
The other box (Sections & Formats) holds all the fields in the database.
Start by selecting fields from the HEADERS pull down list. Your selections are shown in the bigger box below. Do the same with any other sections from which you wish to select fields (financial, ratios, etc)
Select a time range if you wish.
When all your data items have been selected -- SAVE -> OK

Now click on EXPORT (in top tool bar) and follow directions to save as spreadsheet file.
