Reserving Meeting Rooms.

Director’s Office staff will no longer book the seminar or meeting rooms in Van Pelt. The reservation books no longer exist either. I will be handling all requests for reserving rooms.

All room requests and relevant needs for your own meetings or those you are scheduling for others should be addressed to me. This now also includes working with you to determine your AV needs, and coordinating with ITADD for training on the use of the equipment in the rooms if necessary.

MeetingMaker accounts have been created for Goldstein, Class of ’55, and the Meyerson Room. MeetingMaker accounts have been created for Class of ’54 and Weigle Teaching Seminars (3rd and 4th floors) and for the Film Studies Room (4th floor) as well, so staff will be able to see when they are free but, as these are classrooms and not meeting spaces, the booking of these rooms must still go through me. Keys for Goldstein, ’55, and Meyerson will now be located in my office, with an alternate location, to be determined very shortly.

You can now access these MeetingMaker accounts and request use of a room; however I must approve and confirm your dates and times. When imputing a request in any of the MeetingMaker accounts each user must individually choose to create and send an email message TO ME as part of their Meeting Maker event creation. This will enable me to quickly see your request and confirm it. If you do not create and send an email message to me, than I will not be aware of your request until I open and review each accounts calendar. Also, you MUST put your name, phone extension and any other pertinent information in the “Agenda” section of the activity page. This includes any catering and or AV needs you may have. Once I confirm or deny your request you should receive an email back with this information.

I will do my best to stay on top of all requests and respond to you in a timely fashion. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Have a great weekend! L'etat, c'est moi.
