If the Seminar room screen does not show anything but a blue field or a piece of the laptop's desktop -- then the laptop's resolution is set too high. New laptops are not compatible with old projector.
What to do. Change the resolution of the laptop ( under settings) to 10 x 7.
That's all. Now it will look fine.
