Bloomberg's legal counsel has decreed that the program can no longer be called "certification" for liability reasons, so the working title now is "Bloomberg Essentials." As our representative understands it, the new program will consist of 5 videos:
*basic navigation, news, and Bloomberg Launchpad (desktop customization)
* API/Excel functions * Equity * Fixed Income * Foreign exchange/commodities
The estimated roll-out is late August, to coincide with the start of Fall semester(s) everywhere.
This 5-video program is significantly smaller than the current program (25 videos to choose from, but only 13 were required for full certification).
